How did the young seagull learn his first flight?
The young seagull learned to fly in a very special way. At first, he was too scared to even try. He saw his brothers and sister fly, but he just couldn’t make himself do it. He was afraid that he would fall into the sea far below. His family tried to get him to fly by calling out to him and even pretending they’d leave him all alone if he didn’t fly. But he still didn’t move.
Then, something changed. The next day, he was really hungry. His mother saw this and had an idea. She took a piece of fish and flew close to him, but not too close. When he tried to grab the fish, he fell forward. This made him super scared, but then, suddenly, he was flying!
