What did Nelson Mandela say about love?

Nelson Mandela said, “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion.
According to Nelson Mandela “People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to love, they can be taught to love for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

He means to say that if you know what night is, you will be able to appreciate day. This way he said if you know what hate is, you will be able to understand love.
So suppose someone does not know pains and the difficulties of life will definitely not be able to understand what comfort is.
So in simple words Nelson Mandela meant that if you have to enjoy comforts of life you must go through some difficulties. In the same way if you want to understand love you must have a deep understanding of hate.
