How is TRP calculated?
INTAM (Indian Television Audience Measurement) is an electronic agency which measures TRP. It installs “People Meter” which is an electronic device in a few thousand viewers houses and records data about the channels, tv shows etc watched by them for a period of 30 days. Based on the aggregate of the data, the agency analyses and releases a report of the programs or channels that have higher TRP’s.
