Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I wish to highlight the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by our respected Prime Minister. It is a great initiative and needs. to be implemented at all levels to bring about a big change. Cleanliness is godliness.
Gandhiji also stressed the need to maintain good sanitation works. Indian people need to understand the importance of keeping not only their personal spaces but also public places clean. Garbage and dust lead to the generation of many diseases and cause pollution.
Cleaner surroundings would purify the air and better health conditions. It would promote a feeling of unity and brotherhood as everyone would be working towards the same cause. It would also give people a sense of pride in their own city and country.
