An old lady grievously (very badly) wounded her eyes in a serious road accident ……..an eye specialist was called in………. he started treating her…….. but at the same time started removing all household articles……… The bandage of the eyes removed………. the lady pretended not to see at all……… her eyes were still not fully cured ……….Moral.

Ans:-                                       THE DISHONEST DOCTOR

Once upon a time, an old lady met with a serious road accident. She suffered grievous eye injuries. She was confined to bed. She could not move and go to the doctor for treatment. Then she was suggested the name of an eye specialist. The gentleman came. He agreed to treat the old woman His full and final charges were fixed at one thousand rupees. It was decided that he would be paid this amount plus the reward at the end of full treatment.

The doctor started treating in right earnest. He used very good medicines. The treatment continued for six months. The doctor’s visit was almost a daily visit. Every time he visited his patient, he removed one house-hold article or the other. This routine went on for the entire period of six months. Its result was that all the rooms of the woman were empty. All costly and non-costly articles were pilfered (stolen).

The final day of the unfolding of bandage arrived. The doctor said, “Madam, can you see?” The old lady could see but when she found all her household goods gone, she at once said, “Doctor I am sorry. I cannot see anything in my living room. Before the accident, this room was fully decorated. But now I do not see anything here”. The doctor got the hint. He returned all the stolen goods. He got his Rs.1000.00 and the reward, too.

Moral: Cunningness should be met with greater cunningness.
