Although he lost money, the Maharaja was relieved to keep his kingdom.
Within ten years, the Maharaja killed 70 tigers, but soon there were no more tigers left in his forests. To continue hunting, he married a princess from a state with many tigers. During his visits to his father-in-law’s kingdom, he hunted more tigers and eventually killed 99.
