Sir

Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and common masses towards rude and rough behaviour of bus drivers and conductors towards the passengers. They lack basic etiquettes and manners.

First, they have scant respect for the passengers. The conductors blow the whistles without bothering whether the passengers have boarded the bus or not. The drivers keep the buses moving to see very well that the passengers have put only one foot on the board. If the passengers fall down and meet with some accident they blame the passengers and even call them bad names.

Second, the conductors do nothing to get the seats reserved for the ladies vacated. Third, they speak as if they were managing a herd of cattle and their language is insulting. Fourth, if a passenger does not give the exact amount for the ticket he has to listen to a long lecture from the conductor. My humble suggestion is that the persons recruited for the job of the bus conductors and drivers should be given lessons in courtesy and good behaviour.
