In this modern age, we have left everything behind in the race of development. We have taken mother Earth for granted. As a result, man has started cutting trees recklessly to cater to his present requirements. But trees not only provide us with fresh oxygen but also reduce pollution by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. They are very helpful in reducing global warming.
It is very surprising that human beings have become so unconcerned towards nature as they are cutting trees in large number for settlements, paper, and other uses. If the present situation of cutting trees is not checked, we will have to face its consequences. Therefore, the need of the hour is to plant more and more trees. The government should start a large-scale campaign to make people aware of the importance of trees. We should spread the slogan: ‘Each One Plant One’ seriously and should make every effort to save and plant trees.
