 Global warming is a major threat to our existence. The gradual rise in temperature is resulting in melting of me caps in the Arctic region which in turn is contributing to the rise in water level M the seas. This is very threatening as rise in water level in the seas may lead to flooding of the coastal regions posing a threat to the lives in these regions. Global warming, in fact, is the major concern of the present world. It is high time we realise that due to our activities like undue burning of fossil fuels for various purposes and felling of trees, the world is facing the threat of destruction. The civil society, the governments and all the stakeholders should take immediate steps in curbing carbon emissions and stopping deforestation to address the problem of global warming. We should adopt sustainable development policy to save our earth.
