Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada is formally known as JNTUK is situated at JNTU Kakinada Campus, Pithapuram Road in Kakinada, of the East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. This college was established in the year 1946, as the “College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam”.
JNTUK played an advisory role to the “Department of Technical Education Government of Andhra Pradesh” and also imparts training to engineering, management, sciences, humanities and languages departments. JNTUK is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University for its B.TECH and M.TECH degrees and its graduate and postgraduate courses are recognised by the “All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)” and University of Pune.
