JAIIB — Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers

JAIIB Full-Form refers to Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. JAIIB is a flagship course in the areas of banking and finance offered by the IIBF or Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. This course is designed to give the required knowledge in legal aspects, customer relations, financial services, basic accountancy, banking technology and banking services to carry out the everyday banking operations. The JAIIB exam is usually held twice every year.

Eligibility

JAIIB  Full-Form | What is Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB)Only the institute’s ordinary members are eligible to take the JAIIB exam. An ordinary member means an individual who is employed in the banking industry, and the employer must be the institution’s member. Additionally, candidates should have cleared the university exam. The subordinate staff of the financial or banking institute which is also the institute’s members may appear for the exam. There is no minimum and maximum age for the JAIIB exam.

JAIIB Application Form

All those who wish to apply for the JAIIB exam must visit the official portal of the IIBF. They must then login using their membership number and password. In the application form, the candidates are needed to fill in information like their workplace, exam centre, the medium of the exam, the exam mode, etc. Before submitting the completed form, the information and data that have been filled in must be checked thoroughly. The aspirants can pay the application fee using either the facility of net banking or the credit/debit card.

JAIIB Exam Details

The questions in the JAIIB exam are asked from the subjects like Regulatory and Legal Aspects of Banking, Finance and Accounting for Bankers and the Principles and Practices of Banking. Candidates can attempt this exam in either English or Hindi medium. The medium must be selected carefully by the aspirants since its alteration is not allowed after the application form submission.
