India is a land with diverse climate and is gaining popularity as a new destination. Many states are encouraging this discipline by offering numerous facilities and incentives. This has led to the emergence of a new breed of adventures. The Tourism Ministry and various other government agencies have come out with new policy initiatives like monetary and other incentives, to promote the adventure sports across the country. India provides for a variety of landmarks and physical features needed for adventure sports. Water-related adventure sports can be promoted at beaches, rivers, streams and other such water bodies. Activities like boating, water scooter riding, swimming, skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and scuba diving, etc. are well taken care of in different parts of the country. The state government in association with central government improve need to provide facilities and infrastructure which helps to improve performance in this field. We need professionals to conduct these activities more and more people are conducting activities. At present India hosts and features only a few such activities. More and more people are eager to take to these activities if the right kind of environment is there.
