    7. Animals and Their Sixth Sense: Before the tsunami, many animals acted strangely. In Yala National Park in Sri Lanka, where 60 people died, very few animals were found dead. Elephants ran to higher ground, dogs didn’t go outside, and flamingoes flew away from the beaches. People believe animals can feel danger through a sixth sense or because they have stronger hearing.
