Message Writing Format No- 9 & 10

9. Following is a conversation between Awn and Mona, Sandeep’s sister. Since Mona won’t be at home to convey the message to her brother, so she writes a message for him. Read the conversation and using necessary information, write the message in about 80 words.

Arun: Hello, can I speak to Sandeep?

Mona: Sorry! Sandeep’s not at home. Can I take a message?

Arun: Yes, please tell him that he’s been selected the Vice Captain of the school cricket team.

Mona: Oh! That’s wonderful.

Arun: Also tell him that he has to be in school tomorrow at 7 in the morning for a practice session. We have to prepare for the Inter school matches to be held in the coming fortnight.

Mona: I will give him the message.

Sandeep,

Great news brother! Arun called to tell that you have been just selected the Vice-Captain of the school cricket team. He has also asked you to be there at school at 7 in the morning tomorrow for a practice session.
