Subject: Problem of electricity cuts.

Sir
Through the columns of your daily, I would like to bring to the notice of the State Electricity Board the problems faced by us in our area with erratic electricity supply.
It is examination time and the students are busy preparing for the exams. For us, we are literally burning the midnight oil with oil lamps, candles, and emergency lights replacing the tubes and CFLs. Such is our condition with the poor electricity supply to our area. Not only the electricity supply is disrupted frequently, but also such power cuts extend for long hours, even four to six hours per day. Our inverters get almost discharged. What is the reason for this, only the concerned authorities know?
I request you to publish this letter so that the concerned authorities rectify the problem whatever it is

Thank You

Yours faithfully

Sir,
Subject: Poor voltage problem in Subzi Mandi area.
Through your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the authorities to the plight of people in our locality due to a poor voltage supply. For the last month, there had been an erratic power supply with the result that all our domestic electronic appliances have developed some kind of snag or the other.
Things like fridge, micro ovens, air conditioners, room coolers, etc. have stopped functioning at all. The local mechanic says that it is due to low voltage.
Thus, on behalf of all the residents, I appeal to the electricity department to ensure proper levels of voltage in our area.
Yours truly
Tarun

Sir
Subject- Frequent Electrical Breakdowns.
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and common masses towards frequent electric breakdown. The frequent electric breakdown is a great nuisance these days. They hit particularly the student community.
The students are assets to society. The government should keep their interest in mind. During an electric breakdown, particularly if it takes place near the examinations, the students are unable to study. This break in studies makes them forget even what they already have learned.
Electric breakdowns affect other people also. Work in hospitals, factories, and offices comes to a standstill. Even emergent operations cannot be performed. Tube wells also cannot work and thus crops go dry. It is for this reason that a comprehensive policy on electric supply to all areas and sections of society should be devised.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully
