“How long will I live?”
These days I feel quite upset. The question, how long will I live? Haunts me day and night. With a lot of hesitation, I asked my father how long one can live ordinarily. What he told me was quite satisfying. He said that our longevity depends on several factors—heredity, the area in which we live, our health, food and lifestyle. I think I am fortunate in several aspects. My grandparents have lived to be about 80. I live in a small, peaceful town where all amenities of life are available. The food I eat is nutritious like fruits, milk and vegetables. I go on a long walk daily in the morning. So why should I fear to confront the question–how long will I live? By God’s grace, I will live to be 80 and even more.
