Stress is a common problem among students during examinations. Write a letter to your cousin, advising her on how to cope with examination stress.

Dear Mishika

 I received your letter yesterday. You mentioned in it that your examinations are approaching and you are already feeling stressed. Actually, I too face this kind of problem. It is natural to have examination stress. However, I have adopted certain ways which have helped me overcome this problem. I will advise you to follow the same ways.

Firstly, you need to relax. Always take a deep breath before you start revising. This light activity will release some pressure. It is very important to manage your time effectively. Thus, plan a time-table and schedule your time accordingly. Do include some leisure activities which will help you refresh and rejuvenate. Besides that, you need a balanced and nutritious meal and at least 8 hours’ sleep.

 You must also focus on your methods of studying. It is easy to remember notes and important points. Do not memorise everything and overwork your poor brain. You can try map-minding or highlighting the important points. This will ease the learning process.

I hope you will do well in your examinations and don’t pressurize yourself.
