41. Letter to the Editor Regarding: Pros and Cons of Media

Media create awareness but sometimes overemphasize what is relatively unimportant. As the Cultural Secretary of your school, you wish to share this awareness. Write a letter to the Editor of your school magazine in about 100-120 words giving inputs on the pros and cons of media.

The Editor,

TUV School Magazine,

Delhi.

 Sir/Madam,

Subject: Pros and cons of media

Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to present my views on the pros and cons of media. The media, today is a veritable source of information, and also, in a sense, a crusader of justice.

In today’s age of information technology, almost nothing is hidden. Journalists, especially those on television uncover corruption, lawlessness and injustice at the highest levels of office, ensuring a certain degree of accountability.

However, with 24-hour news channels, the quality of content has deteriorated. The print media, too, has lost its magic due to instant news. Sometimes, mountains are created out of molehills too. Thus, one is forced to sift through volumes of information.

Yours sincerely,

 XYZ.
