I have received your kind letter asking me to pay the rental dues for the last six months. While apologising for the inordinate delay, I request you to give me another month to pay up in fall. As you know the marriage of my sister meant a sizeable contribution from my funds which has lead to cuts in my salary.
I assure you that this is an unusual incident of delay and will not be repeated.
