Dear Sir
I wish to apply for the post of Security Officer in your factory, as advertised in The Bombay Times of January 7.
I am 30 years old. I was educated in the National College, Bangalore, where I did my graduation in arts.
 For the last 5 years, I have been working as a Security Officer with Ashok Engineering Works, Surat. My duties include the maintenance of the building and the protection of the factory property. I have also been supervising the movement of goods into and out of the factory.
I enclose herewith a’ testimonial from the Personnel Manager of Ashok Engineering Works.
