 Dear Papa and Mama
I am fully aware that your wedding anniversary falls on 18th August. I am very anxious to be with you. I had even purchased a gift for this happy occasion. Infact, I had been counting the days so that I could fly to my parents.
But I regret to inform you that only yesterday in the school assembly, our Principal announced that there would be an on-the-spot painting competition on 18th August. This competition is being organised by the UNESCO and the prize winners will be honoured not only by our state but also by the Government of India.
I am hopeful that you will understand my condition. I shall see you after this competition.
