Invitation to a Birthday Party

Dear Madhu,
On the 26th of June this year I shall have completed yet another year of my life. I shall be 25! That’s a silver Jubilee, isn’t it? I am holding a little party and get-together for my colleagues and near and dear ones. How could I possibly leave you out? The party would be a ‘damp squib’ (If you know it means a flop or failure) without your playing the electric guitar and regaling us with anecdotes about college days.
Do come to Madhu for old time’s sake. Don’t embarrass me by bringing gifts.
