PAST INDEFINITE TENSE

 Rule: was/were + III form of the verb.

 Active Voice                                                              Passive Voice

1. She wrote a letter.                                                   A letter was written by her. 

2. Mohan helped me.                                                  I was helped by Mohan.

3. They ran a race.                                                       A race was run by them.     

4. Walsh broke the record.                                         The record was broken by Walsh.  

5. The Prime Minister honoured  Kapil Dev             Kapil Dev was honoured by the Prime Minister.

6. She welcomed me.                                                 I was welcomed by her.

7. He loved her.                                                           She has loved him.
