My dear Kapil,
My result will be out next month. I am confident of getting more than 90% marks. All my papers are done fairly well. Now the question of choosing the profession arises.
I have decided to follow the career of a doctor. A doctor is the custodian of national health. He helps the suffering humanity. He helps remove the disease. Our country is in badly need of doctors. In a country where quacks are thriving for want of qualified surgeons, it is high time that more and more trained doctors came forward to serve the nation.
I have offered my subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. (P.C.M.) They will enable me to seek entry in a medical college.
After qualifying as a doctor I shall establish my clinic in a rural area. Our villages need most of the services of doctors. The people there fall easy prey to death and disease. I shall help them with all my capability. Profit shall not be my motive. Money amassing will not be my aim. I shall give them free medicine and free advice. I will teach them the art of being healthy and strong.
If God fulfils my desire, I shall leave no stone unturned to realize my dream. Now let me know about your choice of career. Hoping to hear from you soon,
Your loving cousin,
A.K.
