Respected Father,
I received your letter yesterday. Well, dad, you needn’t worry at all about me. I have adjusted myself with the others and settled down comfortably in the hostel. I am enjoying hostel life, though I do feel a little home-sick at the dinner table.
Our hostel has all good arrangements for food, studies and games. Hostel life is really fun. The boys are very affectionate, friendly and helpful. But the hostel warden is very strict. We have to be punctual for meals, studies and games. Besides, we have to take up, as a rule, one constructive activity or the other.
The food is tasteless and insipid. We have a routine menu here and I miss mother’s recipes. Still, I have adjusted myself to all this because I realise I have come here with a mission and I will not disappoint you.
