IRDP Full Form stands for Integrated Rural Development Program
IRDP is a development program launched by the Indian Government in 1978. By the year 1980, it spread all over India. Its main focus is to increase the capacity of generating income of the targeted poor groups of people. This program targeted marginal farmers, rural artisans, agricultural labourers and small farmers that are surviving below the PL (poverty line). Thirty-three per cent of it is reserved for rural artisans, 
agricultural labourers, and marginal farmers. People who are physically handicapped and the families of the scheduled tribes and scheduled caste categories are given fifty per cent of the subsidiary. The physically handicapped, and ST and SC families are given six thousand rupees as the subsidiary, four thousand rupees in the non-DDP and non-DPAP areas, and five thousand rupees Fifty per cent coverage of ST/SC, forty per cent for women, and the remaining three per cent for the physically handicapped is assured within the group targeted by the program.
