BSc — Bachelor of Science

BSc Full-Form refers to the Bachelor of Science. BSc is an undergraduate degree course, which generally spans for a period of 3 years. The maximum period for which the course may run is 6 years however, such a decision depends on the policy of the Institutes. A candidate of  B.Sc requires studying of 5 or 6 subjects of which 2 subjects are mandatory and 3 are Electives, depending upon the institutes. A B Sc offers particular knowledge in certain arms, which generally belong to the three major scientific areas. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The course can be studied as a Full-Time Graduate Course or as a Part-Time Graduate degree course which is through Distance Education or Correspondence

Bachelor of Science (BSC)

The course is designed to instil in graduates important disciplinary knowledge and practical skills. The students are actively engaged in laboratory work which is premised on textbooks. This course is especially meant for those students who have a background in the Sciences and Mathematics. Some of the subjects offered in B.Sc. are Biology. Chemistry. Physics. Mathematics. Environmental Science, Computer Science. Botany, Biochemistry. Electronics and Zoology The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. are akin to that of any other undergraduate degree course. Interested students must score a minimum of 50 per cent in 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board. These students must have opted for the science stream. The minimum percentage required may vary among reservation categories and states. There are institutes that conduct entrance examinations.

A B.Sc graduate shall have many opportunities to engage pr ofessionally such as in Agriculture industry, food institutes, Oil Industry, testing laboratories, Space research companies, Hospitals, Health Care Providers, Forensic Cnme research, Biotechnology firms, Nursery Companies, geological Survey Departments, Fishery Departments, Wastewater plants, etc. As evident from the preceding paragraph, there are ample opportunities available after completion of B.Sc however, a student may pursue advanced studies through M Sc.
