Head Girl’s Message
“Striving for mastery, hoping for victory,
Keeping our aims and our ends in view
Never deterred by the troubles we meet,
Brave in the hour of sore defeat.”
These lines have been profoundly imprinted on the minds and hearts of all the School NameSians. All through my school life, I’ve always felt at home and now, It saddens me to reach the final year.
Embarking upon my last school year, I feel so humbled to have started my journey as a small kid here as I have had so many amazing opportunities to excel and achieve in all that I do with encouragement to each obstacle. The past ten years have been full of opportunities, exposure, unforgettable experiences that have given me innumerable memories to look back upon. It is amazing to see how till the date, that school stands firmly on its beliefs and traditions. I am extremely grateful to my teachers, who guided me throughout, remained so supportive and considerate, stood by in hard times and imbibed the qualities of perseverance and self-confidence. “Fortune favors the bold.” This institution encourages young minds to dream, work, believe and achieve. ____School Name____ has worked to provide a holistic development and has been successful in maintaining the balance between curricular and co-curricular activities. I from the beginning had an inclination towards co-curricular activities and have been provided with wonderful opportunities for the same; Be it the lead in the annual function play – ‘Meera’ of organizing Model United Nations Conference of taking initiatives and planning various club activities. The exposure we received here is truly tremendous ! No doubt such opportunities help to develop individuals who are critical thinkers, creative planners and effective practitioners. ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going’ with the never giving up spirit, bars are raised every time the milestones are reached. The student council of 2016-17 has worked effectively on the proverb ‘actions speak louder than words’ with the massive support and help from our school heads, the management, teachers fellow mates and put honest efforts in contributing to the well being of the school.
Our guide, principal sir,Name_______ has always been an inspiration for the students. He is the captain who steers this ship with complete dedication and we the crew, have nothing to worry under his gracious presence and firm guidance. _____School Name _______has developed me into a woman with integrity, bold in taking independent decisions and developing an acute sense of right and wrong; I shall always be thankful for it. It sends shivers down my spine every time I think about how after few month, I would not be passing through the same corridors, studying in the homely environment, interacting with the teachers, hovering around the canteen, playing in the field or prepping p for competitions yet the school would always remain second home for all of us. I am a firm believer of the fact that as long as the beliefs, values and traditions would persist, the glory of _____School Name_____ shall withstand all odds.
To all my juniors and peers, No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world. Have faith in yourself, stick to values, maintain your integrity, stand for what you think is right and be courageous to think different. Nevertheless, the change begins with you.
