Ravi lives with his parents and his 75-year-old Grandpa. Grandpa has a problem with memory. He cannot hear well, see well, or remember things clearly. Ravi’s mother, Vidya, jokes that someone should make a “Vitamin-M” to improve memory. She says this because she feels worried and tired of handling Grandpa. Ravi tells her to speak softly because Grandpa might hear. This shows that Ravi cares about his Grandpa’s feelings.
2. Why Grandpa Came to the City
Grandpa used to live alone in his small brick house in a quiet town. He loved that place, especially the mango tree in the garden. It was peaceful and calm. But one day, he slipped and fell in the garden. He stayed outside all night because no one was there to help him. After this, Vidya brought him to live with them in the city. Grandpa does not like the crowded and noisy city, but he has no choice.

4. Grandpa’s Plan to Go Out
After his mother leaves, Ravi asks Grandpa to play chess or watch cricket. Grandpa is very good at chess and remembers many famous games. Ravi tries to stop him politely, but Grandpa feels offended. So, Ravi allows him but decides to follow him secretly to keep him safe.
5. Ravi Follows Grandpa
Grandpa first goes to a park and buys peanuts. He sits and watches children play. Ravi hides behind bushes and feels embarrassed when people notice him. Then Grandpa goes to a tea stall.
