Sir,
Being the Secretary of N.S.S.Unit of Model Town III. Delhi. I have read your advertisement that appeared today in the Times of India on the above-mentioned subject. In this connection, I would like to inform you that a group of N.S.S. students of Govt. Sr. Sec. School Model Town III have shown their keenest desire to put themselves at the services of the old. They have asked me to request you to let them know the following information:
- Programmes they can join
- The kind of service the aged need
- Ways in which money can be collected/donate to them
Our school students including myself are ready to spare our time twice a month on Sundays for this noble cause as the service of humanity is the best service. No other service is as great as helping the old. We will entertain them through our talks. Songs. Services or read them the desired books. We can shop for them for their requisite items. In case they need some medical aid the same can be arranged within minimum time. I am of the opinion that none can work in the vacuum. We are of the society and for the society and a society cannot survive without human beings.
