Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow:                                    

The name Naukuchiya Tal means ‘nine cornered lake’. According to the local legend, if one is able to identify the nine corners of the lake, he is destined to be a millionaire. The lake is considered auspicious because the Pandavas are believed to have taken bath here. The lake just 26 km. from Nainital is surrounded by thickly forested hills. The forests are home to about 135 species of birds and 12 species of animals. For a nature lover, it is a paradise to be explored. Adventurous tourists can paraglide, riding in tandem with an experienced pilot which costs around Rs. 650 for 10 minutes. Naukuchiyatal is also connected to nearby hill stations. The drive to Ranikhet is far more picturesque than Nainital. Nainital has other lakes also and all of them have distinctive features. The Bhimtaal near Nainital is known for its history of Pandavas. Set in the picturesque surroundings, the beautiful lake draws millions of tourists during peak months of summer.
