An old man was sitting on a beach. He was remembering old, past days of his life. Life has been very good in his youth but as the age has advanced now he doesn’t find life interesting. He is bored and there is no ambition in life. Suddenly he meets the longtime beloved of his college time. He feels a strange sort of attraction towards her. He remembers how he used to like this girl but could not share it with her because of shyness. He thinks God has given him the next chance. He likes to start his life again with her. He goes to her and talks to her. He tells her that his wife recently passed away, leaving him alone. His sons have moved away to their new homes after marriage and he is single. He tells her all these things gradually. He also told her that he had a crush on her in the college days.
To his surprise, the woman also shared the same feelings. But God was not kind. The woman wanted to be just a friend as she was not living alone. Her husband was beside her and when the trio met, they found they were great friends either. So the trio found that each other’s company was enjoyable and this was great enough for the old man.
