Confusion Of Words
- Wave (ripples on the surface of the water). There were high waves on the ocean during the storm.

Weak (lacking strength). His illness has made him weak.
- Wet (moist). His clothes are wet as he has come in rain.
Whet (sharpen, to make more keen). The sweet smell of the dishes has whetted my appetite.
- Womanly (pertaining to women – used in a good sense). She is full of womanly kindness and love.
Womanish (pertaining to women – used in a bad sense). His manner of walking is womanish.
- Wreak (to cause harm or damage). The storm has wreaked a have in Gujarat.
Wreck (an accident, especially of a ship). The ship was wrecked in the storm.
- Year (twelve months). Last year, I went to America.
Ear (Organ of hearing). She is wearing it. gas in her ears.
