Subject: Rash driving and over-crowding in school buses.
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the authorities and the general public towards the sheer negligence and carelessness of school-bus drivers. Not only the buses are overcrowded, the drivers too indulge in rash driving.
Thus, they expose the innocent school children to high risks. Only recently a school bus struck against the railings of the bridge and fell down into the Yamuna. Such mishaps are the result of reckless driving only.
I, therefore, appeal to the traffic police and school authorities to take measures to restrain the errant drivers. Will the concerned authorities look seriously into this?
