EGA
EGA Stands for Enhanced Graphics Adapter. In the year 1984, IBM made this phenomenal announcement about the EGA display standards, which was a major improvement on the then used CGA standards used 
originally with the IBM computers. EGA helps produce 16 various colours with the help of just sixty-four platelets. The display resolution of this standard was 640×350 pixels. The EGA was removed from the market and the production of the same was stopped in the year 1987 when the VGA standard overtook this concept to a whole new level along with various other advancements.
