A strong Decision by P.M. Modi

Ban on Rs. 500 and 1000 is one of the most talked topic in India. There is lot of chaos in the general masses regarding it serpentine queues can be seen outside post officer and banks, of the people, who are lager to get their money exchanged. There are several advantages and disadvantages of the ban of Rs. 500 and 1000 notes.

Advantages :

1.The major cause behind taking this big step is to find out the black money hidden by people. At present black money is a big hurdle on the way of development of India. At long as the hidden money keeps flowing the people will not pay their actual amount of taxes which will be possible only when the hidden money get registered.

2.Another advantage of this ban is that it will curb the crime as big value notes are used in major crimes like trafficking and drug dealing.

3.Moreover according to RBI recently there has been a rise in fake money in India and obviously the ban on high value notes will present the fake money from circulating in the market.

Disadvantages :

1.Since the small business works on day to day cash flow so it will take some time for the small business to get back to normal until there is sufficient cash supply.

2.The real estate sector which runs majorly on cash will be very adversely affected and the rates of the property will go down.

3.Lastly, the people who do not use debit or credit card or net banking for online purchase and give case on delivery of goods will be badly affected which in turn will affect the e-commerce as well.

In nutshell the government took this decision mainly to curb the problem of black money and the actual result of this step will be sighful after few weeks or months but hopefully it helps in curling corruption.

“If the sun sets at evening, it rises in morning too.” I think it is beginning of India to become “Golden Bird” again.
