9. The process of getting a driving license
Ans. We fill the prescribed form giving our name, father’s name, address, date of birth etc.
 We submit this filled form along with a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner and the required fee with the clerk concerned and get a receipt. He directs us to report to the inspector.
We drive the vehicle in the presence of the inspector. He asks us some questions about traffic signals and what they indicate. He signs the papers.
Then we get ourselves photographed in a photography room.
After a while driving license, a smart card is handed over to us.

10. Egg, pan, oil, salt, chillies, onion, ginger, butter, pepper—using the word given above describes the process of making an omelette.
Ans. Break one or two fresh eggs into a bowl and beat the sticky liquid thoroughly. Add pepper, pieces of chopped onion and ginger, chilly and salt to taste and beat a little bit to mix well. Heat some butter or oil in a pan. Pour the beaten mixture onto the hot oil. Spread the mixture tilting the pan from side to side. Let the bottom set into a solid mass. Turn the solid mass upside down to cook the other side. The omelette is ready to eat. Serve it hot with a slice of bread.
