Self-confidence is needed to win every competition

I was participating in the zonal debate competition the very next day. I was very conscious and tensed on the day before. I kept practising during the daytime and at night, I tried to sleep earlier. I laid down on the bed but could not sleep due to stress. I got up again and started revising the topic in my mind. I felt that as I was revising, again and again, I was getting more nervous and started forgetting everything. By realizing that, I almost sank into despair.
Suddenly, a huge figure appeared before me. I got horrified and was not able to move at that time. I was repeating something in my mind and probably it was my speech. That figure stood before me and tried to resist me against speaking. He tried to close my mouth to stop my voice. I shifted behind and remembered my God. I got an invisible power from inside and I tried to catch him. As I tried to get hold of that figure, I found there was nothing. My hand just swirled in the air uselessly. I rubbed my eyes and tried to make my vision clear. But there was not an image of the horrifying figure.
Meanwhile, my dad came there and asked me about the cause of waking late at night. I told him the whole story. He laughed bitterly and convinced me that it was nothing but my fear. I was pacified now and understood the reason for forgetting my content of the debate. Now, I was more confident and revised the whole content in front of my father with self-faith. My father patted me on my back and slept beside me that night. I was confident to give my best and win in the zonal competition.
