Dear Diary,

Today I am extremely happy. I met an old friend of mine. Rahul. It was surprising as well as pleasant. How unexpected it was I was standing at the counter of a shop dealing in readymade garments. Some other customers were also standing there. One of them was continuously looking at me. He walked up to me and gave me a broad smile. ‘Excuse me’, he said, ‘Are you Mr Anil? From the way he smiled. I at once recollected that he was my childhood friend, Rahul. Many years ago, his father had migrated to England with his family. Rahul had now so grown into a smart, handsome young man. That was why I couldn’t recognize him at first sight. ‘0 yes, and the next moment we were in each other’s embrace. What a joy it was to meet an old friend of mine!
